all the housing with the ni-resistant material looked that that....sourced off the GTR.

They basically tell you the size of the housing, area/radius IIRC

Bigger the number the more lag so to speak(but also more topend powa)

smaller number faster spool.

.64 hotsides are good for us, mine has a .60 coldside

So how would one identify my turbo. Yours is GT2871R. What is mine. Is GT short for Garrett? If so mine is GT28???

around what RPM are you getting boost if you don't mind me asking? the turbo seams pretty large according to your specs.

Actually after just reading lots of info from the link Ben posted (thanks Ben) the R means Ball bearing. Gt stands for Garrett. http://www.turbobygarrett.com/turbob.../acronyms.html
