No reason to sell what I already have. Even if I keep the current DP, I'll be happy. I just want to be able to put the downpipe on after the turbine housing gets bolted on.

Are you up for making me an exhaust though? From my "cat" back... I want to re-locate the magnaflow I have on the back to right after the downpipe and run a left exit "straight pipe".

 

Always down to do exhaust work. This left-exit exhaust trend is really interesting.

 

I'm cutting my bumper, and want to get rid of as much weight as possible. And the exhaust I have droops too low and always scrapes (and I'm not even that low!). There is ample room to re-do the exhaust a good 2-3 inches higher. And it will involve very few bends = more flow.

 

I did it for a smooth top-mount 3" dp. But wouldn't do it w/o welding some plate in.

 

You left a lot of meat on that! Mine is cut flush with the "frame rail" on both sides. We added in 1/8th inch steel plates to both sides for some added bracing, and was going to triangulate the corners some, but ended up getting lazy

 

Remember me telling you I was afraid of that? I can redo the hangers on that so that it will never scrape (depending on how low you are) or bang around when you go around corners at the track.

 

I coped my cut around the steering shaft grommet/seal. I didn't feel like "fixing" that if I didn't have to!

 

I got 3" to fit just fine with out cutting the shelf.... Who needs mandrel bends? Pie cuts FTW!
