I'm pulling the dash this weekend and the plan is to run DEI - Under Carpet Lite over the tunnel and as far up the firewall as I can get it, and then follow it up with the before mentioned Floor and Tunnel Shield II on the outside next time the engine is out.

I have a roll of RattleTrap XXX in the garage I bought for my 70's F250 that I could press into service, but that shit's heavy. I used some on the rear deck and vertical section behind the seats in the Miata and it helped a lot, but I'm not sure I want to use all 30lbs of the stuff.

I just laid some of this on the drivers side in the car. First time on track, started to melt the tar-like adhesive on the back and broke through the top layer. Made a mess. Had to tape it over with some aluminum tape I have to stop it from getting anywhere. Still got really hot. Need more work on the heat stopping side...
