Can I run ID 1000s on E85 with stock ECU?
I did it. Running ID 1,000's at 65 PSI base (1,225cc/min at that pressure), on E85, with the stock ECU controlling fueling via a black box I designed and built.
It's not finished yet, but the goal is to have OEM startup/idle/cold starts/hot starts/idle up/driveability/pass and return OBDII codes all the time, but it switches to MS3 for fueling when you go into boost.
Here's a short video at idle with revs with the stock ecu/black box controlling fueling. Short term fuel trims were 5-8% at idle in this video. I show Tunerstudio screen to show AFRs.
This was about 20 times harder to pull off than I initially estimated....

your dashboard makes me gag.
if you just used digital readouts instead of taking a legacy design approach to gauges; you could display all that data in 1/10th the screen space.
what's the point of this?

This was something that air force pilots noted when moving from the analog to digital age and today you still see aircraft digital dashboards with simulated analog gauges.
Having said that, I agree with your original comment, you can reduce the amount of real estate needed IF you also display "percentage bars" to give you a sense of "where" a reading is, colour-code them for low/normal/high readings and flag if they've exceeded a MAX value.
eg. Android AdapTrackIt App

Outside of that being illegal, you must have missed the goals of the part in the first post. Faking OBDII comms does not accomplish 90% of the goals.
Yeah my gauges are a mess, I need to fix that.... It doesn't make the car faster or more reliable, so it's low on the list.

Thanks!
It's not finished yet and it doesn't do everything it's supposed to do correctly yet (still have a couple hardware problems), so not posting pictures of the unfinished part. When it's done and works as I intended for it to, I will though.
