I'll likely go that route.

My delay now is related to what happened when I was pulling the test fitted injector out of the head. The adapter cup on the end of the injector stayed in the head. I didn't realize it, put my stock injector back in and the injector cup fell down into the head.

Now I can't send them back until I fish that piece out of my engine which means I'll likely be pulling the entire intake manifold. I have a borescope on the way to find where that little plastic bugger ended up.

Just frustrating as ****. Get recommended to buy Five-O EV14's, buy Five-O EV14's that says "STOCK FUEL RAIL", don't fit, then get told that no EV14's fit from Five-O. Now I'll have to eat the 15% restock and find a set that fits.

Some people say go Flow Force, others say run Injector Dynamics. I just want a good fitting set of injectors. I searched previously but never found any "horror stories" about Five-O.

In Bruce from Five-O's defense, he is trying to get me into injectors that will work. It's just that I want EV14. My tuner insists on them. From all the searching I've done, I can understand his point.

I sell and use both ID and Flow Force. The only reason you would go with the IDs is because the Flow Forces aren't large enough.

I would absolutely not be paying any restocking fee to a company who sold me something that fit when it doesn't.

If you aren't going e85 the flow force injectors are plenty. With e85 the FF choke around 220-250whp at 43.5 psi base pressure, of course you can crank the fuel rail pressure up they are plenty big for e85 and stock rods. They still idle fine with increased pressure in my experience.

I'll go FF. My only holdup on those vs the ID was the injector dead time documentation that ID provides to make tuning easier.

There are a few threads on here with the dead time info for the FF that you need to put in your MS. I run both the ID1000's and FF injectors. Both work perfectly, as people above have posted the FF are perfect for a stock motor on pump gas. The ID1000's are for built motors or people running E85.

Ordered FF's from Trackspeed.

Still need to wait on the borescope to arrive to find that damn plastic piece off of the Five-O's before I can move forward.

Endscope/Borescope worked mint. The little hook they include with it managed to grab it within 5 minutes of me trying. It was at the low point of my intake manifold, not sitting on one of my intake valves.

This is what I'm talking about, the little plastic "cup".

And how it looks all together.
