Dunno. Not something we allowed for or took into consideration. Plugs and ports would end up in odd locations.
Guy like you is probably better off making something from scratch I reckon. |

Shuiend, why would a Magic Funnel be needed with the bleed screw?
Regardless, a vacuum fill system is hands down the best way to fill a coolant system done and done. But I can borrow a friend's, so I'm out no $$ for one. Fill coolant, leave cap off, start engine, hold steady at 3k to get the engine up to temp constantly topping off the coolant as the motor comes up to temp. Turn engine off and top off while still hot. Let engine cool completely. Top off coolant, cap on. Done. Never had issues with that process. |
Just got the kit and the parts are beautiful! I feel bad putting the housing on the back of the motor.
Quick noob question... searched and couldn't find an answer from anyone I trust. The kit gives you the option of removing the small coolant line that runs from the back of the motor to the oil warmer/cooler (have seen it called both), to the throttle body and then the front of the motor. I already have the throttle body bypassed. Is it okay to go ahead and remove that line altogether leaving the oil warmer/cooler with no coolant flowing through it? |

Savington says, and it makes sense to me, keep the oil heater working on a street car.

Shipping to Australia vis USPS should be around $85~90 with insurance. The boxes are about 8" square, maybe 4 lbs.
Mine arrived safe and sound yesterday. |

Not reroute-related, but 949 related. This thing is a piece of art, and I felt kinda bad about hiding it under the hood today:

Just received mine today. It's a shame that this pretty thing will be hidden behind the motor.

Got the re-route main body installed today. Looks very nice. Main body doesn't fit exactly over the original outlet but looks like it should be fine. The instructions only mention using gasket sealer and no mention of a paper gasket. Hopefully there's no leaks once it's back in the car.

There's a temp sensor directly in the head?

NB does not have that. Gauge and ECU fed off one sensor, which is really two sensors in one housing. 3 wire. ECU side has a ground wire, gauge side grounds through the body of the sensor.

Anyone replaced the old spacer/Kia neck type set up with one of these yet? This thing looks really nice and just curious if it would be worth upgrading while I've still got my motor out.
