Starting at. 25,735 I'll be waiting around for the club. Maybe wait for a smashing deal on an outgoing model. I wish it started at 23k. |

I am going to need about 50 of you guys to buy mkturbo setups so I have the money to get a R&D ND. |
No NDs at the Columbus Auto Show last week. I was dissapointed.

The NA spec car lost a bit over 100 pounds and lost 15 HP out of the same displacement engine, even with the addition of super-high compression and direct injection. I can't believe the amount of face palm.

How long have you been saving that?
I'd rather just buy the F-type and have the rear car the ND was aborted from. |
Is this better?

I do like that rear end better.

The fiat looks much better than the nd.

From Miata.net since that's what this conversation is like:
'In truth, an LSD is not a "must have" item for most drivers, and is often unneeded by those who believe they do need it. Testing has shown that an open diff is still the fastest way around a track if the rest of the setup is optimized to match grip to power." I really want to know just what 'optimized to match grip to power' means. On a serious note, I don't think the pricing is all that bad. Inflation is a bitch, and strong dollar/yen or no, we do live in a world overflowing with boomers driving 35K plus appliance-mobiles who think they got a good deal. With a significant portion of Miata sales to wine-and-cheesers with a few extra thou a month to blow, an out the door card for mid-high 20s is not all that shocking. Hell look at the traditional Japanese sports car evolution. If Mazda took the path well-traveled like the Supra/Z cars/3000GT/whatever, a fucking Miata would have 350HP and cost 70K by now. Not saying I am thrilled. Just that them's the breaks. |

I agree about the pricing -- it's in line with inflation/etc. You can thank Greenspan, "Helicopter Ben", and the rest for that. --Ian |

For the first time in my life I have an urge to own a Fiat.
It would be great if it comes with a little button that tightens up the steering like the 500 too. I'm a big fan of electric power steering. |
