I have to deal with that on my sport bike. The center wears out WAYYYYY faster then the sides. I don't spend enough time in twisties on it.

It's just part of the game when you drive it on the street.

well, i ride A032H on the street, 10k miles on them. are they hard, yep, still stick better than azenisand they are fine in the rain. i don't know who '67 douchebag is, but his reasoning is pretty skewed. i have new rs2s on my other wheels mouned on the car. even at 225.45.15, they don't compare to a 195/60/14 r-compund.

rocks?! you're worried about rocks hitting your car? ( this is like john maclean's comments about glass in "die hard") know those tailgaters you get on the freeway? stray a little on the shoulder. those tires SHOWER the car behind you in rocks.

r-comps on the street are GREAT fun. can't wait to replace my yoks with some RA-1s and get these mediochre rs2s back in the garage. let '67 save his for his parking lot races. i'll enjoy mine every day.

For me, Azenis are sticky enough that the rocks they throw are chipping up the black stripe along the bottom of the car :(
I think that might have something to do with the fact that a shop repainted that side of the car though. :/

Deal

Since I'll actually be using my car for racing I'm not going to waste my slicks (I won't be using dot-r's anyway) on the street.

Boy, now I feel bad.

I invited '67Cutlass over here because he was asking some reasonably intelligent questions about engine management over at M.net. I warned him this was a tough crowd, guess I wasn't sufficiently clear.

yeah, well not being so ******* stupid and annoying helps too. it's just a temporary ban to shut him up for a bit.
