Someone actually posted a story on Reddit a while back saying he might know who did that. Was an interesting read.

 

 

 

First thing that came to mind was a "Fun with Flags" themed setup.

 

"Won't be using Harden anymore"

 

It was explained to me to be the latter. apparently with the older hydraulically crimped splices you can actually see them with a thermal camera. Not so with the explosively set splice.

We were warned if we were ever on the jobsite where they were doing explosive splicing to keep your car windows rolled down. Apparently the pressure wave was cracking windshields from hundreds of feet away.

 

Car windows! Hell, what about your eardrums?

 

I would watch this, no joke.

does anyone here recognize this car? I was told by its new owner that its a rear mounted turbo and he cant track it on over 3psi due to heat.

 

It is a Mazda Miata.

 

Looks like a second gen, maybe a '99 or 2000.

Is it a V8? That's the only miata I've heard of having a rear turbo.
