I'll admit to being a little bit of a wuss myself. The tallest stick I ever climbed was just shy of 200', and I didn't enjoy it.

 

Jesus christ, I had to go up 35' in a boom lift last week and nearly **** my pants.

 

Goodly sir, I'm tired of your outright fabrications.

 

I jumped out of a plane at 11,000', but there's no f'n way I'd "free climb" that tower. F that.

 

Sounds like some bullshit to me. I already had my outdoor career years. I just want to pay someone money to take me to the top.

 

 

 

My question has always been.. why not take a parachute on the way down?

 

Apart from the fairly high risk of snagging one of the many guy wires or crashing into the tower itself, you'd have to carry said parachute all the way to the top with you.

That said, if she can do it, you can do it:

 

I can see her ***** dragging all the way on the ground from that photo.

 

I just can't believe she climbed up there wearing those shoes...

She's kind of a crazy chick, though. Fun, but nutty. We worked together in Dallas about 10 years ago.

 

Ignoring the obvious issues, that cable across the deck looks like a tripping hazard. Get that fixed!

Risk Assessment: Ignore all warnings until actual fatality occurs. Then create new government agency to regulate the industry.

 

Yeah, that's the biggest hazard associated with climbing several hundred feet straight up, with no harness, wearing sandals.
