Apart from the fairly high risk of snagging one of the many guy wires or crashing into the tower itself, you'd have to carry said parachute all the way to the top with you.

I just can't believe she climbed up there wearing those shoes...

She's kind of a crazy chick, though. Fun, but nutty. We worked together in Dallas about 10 years ago.

Yeah, that's the biggest hazard associated with climbing several hundred feet straight up, with no harness, wearing sandals.
