It's been a *long* time since I've paid any attention to the kitcar scene, mostly because:
  • I have no interest in hot-rods
  • I don't fit in a Shelby Cobra, and
  • All of the Porsche 550s use swingaxle rear suspensions.
But that 818C, that's a fine-looking car that I could actually imagine driving on a daily basis and not hating.

There was someone on a subaru forum that built one that I was looking at. They look really odd from certain angles.

Sometimes, you just feel like landing your Cessna 172 at ORD.

I don't think I'd have been comfortable bringing N6066R into that space...

My buddy has a 1942 Plymouth Army staff car and a bunch of other gear. Went to a WW2 commemorative event yesterday. Five WW2 veterans were there.

Pics of us before the crowds arrived and video going down the road. Tires look to be 3.5 or 4in wide at tread.

Yes, with jeeps and such but nobody had my friends gear and most of them were saggy bellied old farts with no uniforms on.

Could not find any pictures of the event posted online. It was for the commemoration of upcoming Pearl Harbor Day for a little military museum.

When your show is ready for a real adventure let us know. South Carolina Man and Florida Man can team up to bring an amazing experience that I bet the likes of average Turkish citizen will not understand. How common are giant trucks, gators, and guns in Turkey?

Also we will show you real tea. None of that Yankee **** I see in your glass. I can tell it is not real tea by knowing you can't fit a lb of sugar in that glass.
