I'm pretty active. I'll burn 2800 -3000 calories in a day, and walk 5+ miles(especially in big plants). In fact, the watch even told me "you're doing to much take a rest day today". That's not gonna happen though.
My resting HR is actually pretty good i think.
After a decade I finally got a sale near Philly last November, it was 20 minutes east in Jersey. After dropping off a turbo setup I headed to Pat's to get an authentic cheese steak for me and some friends I was going to go see in CT. I get there about 10-10:15PM on a Friday night and spend 15-20minutes circling around trying to find a place to park. Finally parked illegally and ran up to get 4 cheesteak subs. I had looked up online beforehand on how to properly order the subs. I yelled out my order and the guy confirmed it, then about 2 minutes later I had my 4 subs. Super fast and I got back to my car without getting a ticket. I quickly got back on the road heading north. I was finally able to stop in Jersey at once of the turnpike rest stops. I then open my bag of subs. I quickly learned that they fucked up all 4 subs, and none were correct. So really this all comes down to AVOID PHILLY.
Pats and that other place by ikea are fuckign disgusting, I don't know anyone who actually goes there other than tourists. Same type of people who think dominos is good pizza.
Donkey's is good for cheesesteaks (my wife thinks the chicken steaks are too salty though). I won't drive into Camden for it, just need to go to Mt. Holly. (I ate there the 4 months I was on Grand Jury, one sandwich is two meals). https://www.donkeysplace.com/
Dinics in collingswood is basically as good plus if you don't need to drive into the city. Their pork is good to, and the *sharp* provolone I can only find in philly. https://dinicsnj.com/
NOT to be confused with tommy dinics in reading terminal market. If you're there, best get a giro. Almost as good as the ones on the wildwood boardwalk.

There's this place in Arizona that has better and more legit cheesesteaks than Pats or Geno's (they import Amoroso rolls). On their cups there's something about you know you're from Philly because "only tourists go to Pat's and Geno's". Your best bet for a good cheesesteak is to go to a mom-and-pop shop, just a local neighborhood joint. Going to Pat's is like going to the McRib of barbeque.
Also, avoid Philly. Otherwise we'll throw batteries at your New-Jersey-***!
I came home from work one day two weeks ago to find my oldest son playing The Crew Motorfest with a wheel and pedal set that he bought on Amazon "with is own money"-my wife. The two of them are now in the process of redoing the office into a gamer room of some sorts.
The last driving game I played was grand tursimo on my brothers PS1. I remember having a supra with maximum everything and winning races by playing pinball with the other cars. This motorfest game on a PS5 seems pretty good once you go into the settings and turn off all the traction controls and ABS. It's like an open world instead of just races like grand tursimo.

Time to get the kid gran turismo and a dedicated sim rig? Few years ago i posted my g25 after i had modified it with a full size rim.. a year later i was racing on a fanatec CSLDD with load cell pedals.. shifter etc in vr.
For some reason my pictures wont upload to the forum :( It's stuck at 0%
I would like to upgrade to a DD wheel, but waiting for things at Fanatec to settle a bit. Mine has evolved and upgraded over the years. I tried VR, but found the triple screens work better for me.... I can still use my keyboard, and it's more comfortable for longer races.
I built this last year -- sadly I haven't actually used it much. I can't drive with flat screens, so I have to use VR, and the Index support in AC is pretty unstable. People keep saying that I should try iRacing, but I really want to drive something similar to my BMW and they don't have anything like that.
I am developing a preference for ChatGPT as my go-to image creator.
I need them to be able to create hi-res images so I can print these for my wall. I'm currently looking for new artwork in a few rooms and unhappy with most I stumble across.

Can't help ya there.
I can show you this picture of the Christmas gift which I commissioned for my sister:

Last i heard fanatec went bankrupt and got bought out by either razer or corsair.
Theres way too many options now days to settle for fanatec.
If i was to redo it i'd get a logitech DD.

Chai uses it more than I do:

I use quest 2 which was also trash.. bought virtual desktop and it's been pretty solid since. I can get about 3-4 hours of solid racing with minimal VR issues.
Pickles also loves the chair.

Huh. The news I read at the time said that the Fanatec that went bankrupt was a different (but related in some corporate fashion) company to one that sold the gaming hardware, but looking it up now I guess not. Weird.
The Index hardware itself is good, and it works great with other games. It's just that AC support for SteamVR is labelled as "experimental" and they don't really seem to care about fixing it.
