I was miserably slow this weekend but started picking apart the track on my last session. Now that I have data and I'm learning how to use it, I could have been a lot faster if I got the logger working on Saturday. Instead I jacked with it aimlessly when I could not get it to record a lap. CKearns' Race Keeper is so awesome and the more I see him use it, the more I realize that piece of hardware and software could make me a lot faster, it blows away my stuff. Want want want.

Anyway, here are some of my best laps. I was tired and sloppy, my hands are too fast, I keep using too-much throttle in The Sweeper and Diamond's Edge.

No. It's not about what you pass, it's about the lap time. I cut the first few laps off the video because traffic was bunched-up so I let half the field in front of me and I putted around the track for a lap to make some space.

Thats kinda why I asked. It looked like even though he was a bit faster then you in the straights he was slower in the turns and therefor might end up slowing you down b/c I wouldn't think that you'd be allowed to pass on corners during these events.

NASATT is open passing, within reason. Everyone wants space to run free. It's basically the F1 qualifying format. If someone is coming up behind me and I'm not on a hotlap or they flash to pass, I'll run off-line to give them space to pass on-line. Most of the time we just watch mirrors and park it on the straight aways and let each other by.

There are essentially two ways to get from BJ's Restaurant in Colton, CA to Jerry's Barber Shop in San Bernadino.

One way is to just go straight up the 215, a trip of about 11 minutes.

This is the other way:

To be fair, China is a large and diverse country, with many factories run by many different people.

In the US, for instance, we have built both the Panoz Esperante and also the Chevy Chevette.

When a Chinese manufacturer wants to produce a high-quality product, they are perfectly capable of doing so. Yes, a lot of the stuff that comes out of China is utter garbage, designed to be manufactured and sold as quickly and cheaply as possible without regard for quality. (Kind of like the Chrysler K cars.) But I've also seen a lot of Chinese goods which are entirely up to par with their Japanese / European / American rivals.

Are you saying the Panoz Esperante or the Chevy Chevette were counterfeits of something? I fail to see the comparison your trying to make.
