Well, there's no refuting the superiority of an ITB setup.

 

ITB is so last thursday.

The cool new trend is running two throttle bodies per port.

 

Pshhh, I'd be more impressed by two centrifugal superchargers blowing air into each port.

 

 

You're missing the point- one of the two throttles for each port is plumbed directly across to the exhaust port for the cylinder immediately behind that throttle's cylinder in the firing order. It's not merely DEI, but rather full-sequential EGR, with per-cylinder trim. (Obviously this requires two concentric throttle shafts and a high-speed servo synchronized to the engine to modulate the EGR throttle shaft in time with the various intake pulses.)

 

 

That is so last year.

No throttle bodies, just having variable valve lift is the future.

 

Nah- there's a solid scientific and engineering base to support the viability of throttle-less engines with variable cam lift. That means it'll never fly with the ITB crowd.

 

 

I'm going to graft human sphincter muscles onto each intake port. should have good flow.
