In the end, we don't know if there is a god, gods, the adjustment bureau, etc or not. It comes down to faith. Neither side can win the argument.

I'm in the personality category least likely by far to believe in god (INTJ). But I stray there, I'm just not a fan of organized religion and bureaucracy.

I like the radioactive beach sand idea. Uranium enriched beach sand with water washing up amino acids which creates a self replicating form of RNA which all life springs from really does it for me. I love the way my watch spontaneously put itself together and came in on time too. I dropped a 9 volt in my toilet and I have been plagued by Mr. Hanky ever since. But really, I just want hot green alien chicks. That would be bad ***.

What, just because you haven't seen it means that it doesn't exist? Douglas Adams wrote about it, so it must exist. Have some faith, ninja.

Look what else happened by accident:

There sure are a lot of these random events so favorable to life...

From the article:
There was a time, not so long ago, when biologists swore black and blue that quantum mechanics could play no role in the hot, wet systems of life.

Just another example of how damn stupid we are. In 2011 we look back at things they though were true in the year 1350 and laugh about how primitive people were. Can you image what we will "know" to be true 50 years from now?

A big factor is how open people are to new ideas. There are many people barely out of high school that cannot or don't care to perceive new things easily. A 19 year old friend just cannot "get" how to use a Mac for example. "I've always used PCs this is too different for me…". Some folks dislike any change, avoid the learning curve and so forth. Some learn every day for their whole life.

I think in this example it is just the fact that the mac is retarded and not worth learning.

There's no way my iPhone will take care of this response. I will have to wait on my bigger keyboard.

Btw. Not going to flamethrow here.

I regularly choose to hide my lack of faith because of the ridicule that I would face from my friends/coworkers who do have faith. Personally, I believe there are two types of people - Good and Bad. In my experience I have found that churches are full of both. I consider myself a good person even though I haven't been to church in the past 20 or so years. If there are good/bad afterlives I would think that I would be going to the good one even though I have not follow FSM (or whatever the true Deity is) my entire life.

I wasnt calling anyone specific a hater. But, ther are def people out there that do. It is fine for you to believe what you believe and for me to. Well, you get the point.

That sounds awfully the same as "Straight people are good and homosexual people are bad people".

I'm not pointing YOU out as a person, i'm pointing out the language you're using.
Man, I got the jerkit smilie. Wow!!!

If you could strech your mind around what I actually said. Well, I guess you could'nt due to the post you made. I never said that. I have known a lot of people that didnt believe in God. But, were awesome folks.

And regarding Homosexuality. I just think its ewwwww. But, I dont throw holy water on them or burn crosses in their front yards.

have a good day bud....

A random thought.. the sum of delta s system and delta s surroundings equals delta s universe greater than zero, and so this causes a problem with evolutionary theory(That's ok though since it is just theory). A system cannot increase in order and become more random at the same time.

Dont misunderstand me. I am not arguing for religion or god.. I am not Christian, but I also do not accept the big bang or evolution theories (or global warming for that matter).

For the evolution doubters, here's a great book on it:

I was going to write something similar to this.. How do we know that it didn't collide with astro-poop in space? Keep thinking what you want. But when people say.... oooooooh... there is no God now that there are space microbes.... This is proof.... look at our other weak assed **** that supports it.... Look at this monkey man skull some tool bag made. Why do people go through such efforts to fabricate it if it is so true? That's fine. You have religion to thank for the moral structure our country is built on at the very least. I mean hell, take away all of the biblical or religious references in our society and i would just shoot people that pissed me off, and far worse things. So I am with hustler.

You're either falling for the bullshit "theory" propaganda or are just being stupid. A scientific theory is different than a general theory.

Has the pythagorean theorem challenged your belief system lately? Is calculating the length of the hypotenuse by taking the square of the sum of the squares of the other two sides of a right triangle somehow based on opinion?

That there can be no morality in the absence of religion, is a fallacy. Morality evolved in our species, and is hardwired into our brains. The exception are the 0.8% that are born psychopaths.
