The funny thing is: this car legitimately isn't even detailed, it's just that clean. :likecat:
I was pondering getting a fresh polish/wax/seal but I'm 100% sure most buyers out there are interested in the bottom line price and would much rather pay $250 less (which is what my pro detailer buddy charges me to do all of that) I'm having bad thoughts since there is a local dealer with a new '18 base Mustang GT for WELL under MSRP like, nearly $20k less than a Base GT PP2 car. That's a whole lot of leftover change to build as I would want. |
do it. DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm loving mine, even though it's not an 18 like I wanted, but couldn't pass up a minty clean whipple car. No ragrets |

So I'm betting I could get it for even less than that. I'm trying to be honest with myself about going to the track, I probably won't. A nice stereo and Recaro's are definitely something I want though. We will have to see, I need to go drive one. But I don't want to pull the trigger until I've driven a '19 Miata. I know they are at opposite ends of the spectrum. |

No, it was more thinking out loud that if I didn't have a car for awhile, I could pay some stuff off more quickly. Mainly I'm bored with the 135i in stock form and I'm not going to put any money into fixing it's weak area. We could just not go out and not buy nice booze and I could go buy a new Vette. |

I started tearing into the backing plate replacement yesterday. Lucky me, the long bolt on the lower knuckle is seized. What methods have you guys have success with? I sprayed it with PB blaster and then made a home brew to soak overnight. Next step is getting an air hammer.

Torch Do yourself a favor and order new bolts and nuts now. I'd also advise some sort of stainless steel bottle brush or whatever to clean the bore for that bolt in the knuckle. I'm on a mission to replace all the rubber in the suspension in mine so I know this is coming for me. Ungh. I'm just hoping mine isn't nearly as miserable, becausecalifoirniacar. :x: God speed and good luck sir. |
Combination off of letting it soak overnight and beating the shit out of it, I got it out. What a joke. It was stuck on the two lateral arm bushings.

There is still a lack of supercharged Coyote pictures in this thread.....

You should probably wash it if you are going to take pictures of it.

Very, very nice. I'm still not sure what I'm going to do. I may have a buyer for the 135i out in California, I just need it to stop raining so I can actually get it cleaned up and take some decent pictures of it.
There is also a guy here that specializes in Exotics and super clean/low mileage cars like mine. I'm going to try to go run by there this weekend and see if we can come up with either him buying the car outright, or selling it on concession for me. If it makes $$$ sense of course. |
Any of you gays interested in this crap?
i don't really want to ship, but for you lovely boys I'd consider it... https://charlotte.craigslist.org/pts...740022278.html |
