Good stuff.
(Had no idea it also worked on Win8. I shall be less hesitant to upgrade to it in a few years.)
I was ok with Windows 8.1 at first. Then I realized that just about anything that was easy to configure on Windows 7 and earlier requires a Google search and watching 3 Youtube videos to figure out on Windows 8.1. Kid you not, I installed a program and then had no flipping idea where to go just to open the damn program. In order to connect to a bluetooth headset, it is like a 5 step process.
does anyone else apologize to their cat more than their own spouse when you accidentally hurt them physically in some way? I think my wife is jealous I babied Gibson for about an hour from accidentally stepping on his tail. Wife was not impressed.

Did you not console your wife sufficiently after stepping on her tail, or am I missing something?

I started using Windows 3.0 when the desire to use WSYWIG word-processing applications outweighed the burdensome hardware requirements and sluggish performance as compared to MS-DOS.
I upgraded to Windows 3.1 because of TrueType fonts and better networking support (Trumpet Winsock and NCSA Mosaic.)
I upgraded to Win95 when I wanted to run applications that were not supported by 3.1.
I upgraded to WinXP when I wanted to use drivers that were not supported by Win95.
I upgraded to Win7 when I wanted to use more memory and larger hard drives than were supported by WinXP.
I will upgrade to either Win8 or Win10 when a similarly compelling need becomes evident.
