Welcome to the rainy NW.

August: water rationing, riots
Yep, pretty weird patterns the last few years. Did you happen to see that they got between 1/2 to 1-1/2 inches of hail that coated the beaches down in socal the other day?

So while Hustler is getting 7" of snow in Dallas, Braineack has a snow day in DC, and the north east is getting pounded again.

I am at work in shorts smoking ribs at 9:30am.

Gee thanks for that.

Just finished shoveling what, I hope, is the last storm of the season. 50 - 60 next week so maybe get the car out of the snowbank!

Five Guys for lunch!

Well those are baby back pork ribs. The beef ribs will be slightly different at VIR.

I put the ribs on at 7:30 this morning. Pulled to wrap in tinfoil at 9:30 with beer in the foil to keep them moist. Will pull again at 11:30 to remove from tinfoil and slather in Sweet Baby Rays, then back on the grill for 30 min. Should be about perfect at noon. Perfect timing to make everyone else in my company jealous of the lunch my group is having.

I would give up Many, many snow days for all of this. I think I just shoveled 9,352,843 Lbs of snow. By the time I got to the bottom of the driveway, the top was already covered.

I really do miss the miata community that we have up in the DC area. I do not miss the snow or traffic at all.

The early Miatas have a little blue connector under the hood, near the left side upper shock mount, which one can use as a convenient source of accessory power, such as to drive a timing light.

Ugh...this ******* ---- troll at my work. Its too long to go into, but this 4'11bitch at my work. She managed to half throw me under the bus because she ignored steps in her processing area and ruined $10k worth of product and lied about the incident to make it look more like my fault...and since hasn't spoken a word to me. I need to devise a plan to get her railed by management. It will happen.

In my mind, Curly looks and sounds like an American version of James May.

I handed off the first commissioned MKTurbo setup a few minutes ago. Feels good to have one out to a customer. Hopefully he has it installed soon and I can get some real feedback.

If Seth Rogen and James May and a mechanical savant ever had a three way love child, Curly would be the result.
