Sooo...what are the odds this is real? My first thought is that someone is going to get a lot of random calls at 3 AM asking around some free bike and will have no clue why.

I want to pass it on to someone so they can also achieve their dreams. I work nights so give me a call between 11pm and 7am (~3am works best because that's when I take my break) and I should answer. If I don't pick up just leave me a voice mail with the code message "My new Vermeer is pink and blue" and I'll know the call is about this ad and get back to you. No bogus calls please.

For budget headphones I like to reccomend the Grado SR60 or 80 (budget depending). Or if they need to be closed back, the AudioTechnica ATH-M50.

This morning, at around 8:30 am I placed a small order with them. I was then presented with various shipping options, ranging from next-day delivery for $28 (nearly half the cost of the thing that I ordered), all the way down to "Super Saver" shipping (4-7 days) for free. As I was in no particular hurry, I selected "Free."
Around six hours later, it arrived.
I didn't even know that same-day service was a thing that USPS offered, and I have no idea why various companies keep giving same-day shipping to me for free, when I clearly do not require it.

It could just be a proximity thing for you there in NYC, where the distributor happens to be close to a postal hub (they do it deliberately) and with automated order processing, an order placed early in the day can literally be in USPS hands in time for their daily delivery.

Got these for the wife for mother's day because she's fine running with an ancient pair of buds, of which only one side has been working...for the past year or so. She's like that.
I played with them for a while and was impressed, much much better than what typically comes with an apple product. Not much bass though.
