Anybody do much isometric exercising? I enjoy iso simply because you can do it anywhere. I find myself doing iso workouts at work sitting in my chair just out of habit. Flexing my legs against each other or flexing my back muscles and holding them for as long as I can. Of course my co-workers probably think I'm trying to **** my pants or I've blown my load looking at text on my screen. Aside from my normal workout "routine" (which I cheat at quite often, thanks to lack of time and sleep) I have a mandatory pre shower chest workout using my bathroom door jam. Put my palms facing each other on opposite sides of the door at about chest height, then push together as hard as you can and hold until you can't go any more. I do two sets of those a night and it really does seem to help with if not building, at least retaining muscle. Even after a 9 month nearly no protein diet I haven't lost any muscle mass, if not grown a little. Isometrics really target those hard to reach areas. You can do any awkward position and feel the burn in places you didn't know had muscles.

Now I wait for someone to pervert my thread (positions, feel the burn, hard to reach places, workout, do it anywhere, ect.)

In addition to keeping MT.net in line, I'm also a car lounge troll. I have very few friends over there due to my extreme disdain for modern cars.

I want my next project to either be a racecar, or something cheaper that doesn't require storage or a tow rig like a super-swap old sedan or wagon with a semi modern turbo motor and real suspension.

I passed a man today who had his priorities 100% right - a 430 spider parked outside a shitty apartment comples.

Honestly I couldn't agree more. Nothing turns me on more than a home built street/track car. Probably why i've held on to the miata and really don't see myself getting rid of it anytime soon.

Speeking of stupid fast street cars, my buddy Josh just came down from Naples for the weekend last week and showed me some vids of his new E30 car. Pristine 318i with around 550whp on a T04Z. Car looks bone stock inside and out. I watched it take a new Gallardo by 10-12 cars and even a procharged c6 Z by a bus length. All that power for less than ten grand. I guess it helps that he works at a high end shop.

My all time favorite car is the StreetFighter. Frequent visitors to streetfire or other such sites know what i'm talking about. I think it is the ultimate street car.

You should take a drive through Miami's trailer parks. No Ferraris, but lots of rather expensive cars.
