Fedex delivered a package to me tuesday. I was expecting a second package from the same shipper the following day. The driver could not deliver the second package because he couldn't find my house; something like "undeliverable address." Same driver, 24hrs later, I'm one of 3 houses on my street. His job is to find addresses, on time. He just couldn't handle it, I guess

Its a service type deal. Commission varies depending on the items and the amount of work involved. This particular one is a 50% split cause its A LOT of work. I could score huge or waste a couple weeks finding out that its a shithole.

I haven't had a need to go to the storage units yet. Too busy to even take on any more work. This house was just too good of a gamble to pass up so I took it on. I know a guy that owns 5-6 different storage unit buildings and when the times right I plan on talking to him about it.

Every week is different. I have no idea what will come up next and what it'll go for, that's if it even goes. I have a guy coming here this weekend with $4k cash to pick up these waste oil heaters I sold. After everything is all said and done I made $1500 on my commission. That's for roughly 6 hours worth of work. Too bad I cant have one sale a week like that! lol

I'm thinking this thing here is some type of clamp. I feel like I've seen one somewhere before, but I don't remember where.

Went back to the house today and the first thing I picked up was an old flintlock pistol stuffed between the couch cushions.

I had to stay at the shop today for the plumber and he saw some of my stuff and asked me what I did. We got to talking and it turns out the guy wants to bring me some stuff to look at for him. Some old gas pumps, signs, amusement park animated pieces, etc. He said he has a crate with these 5 antique oil signs from 1946 with the wax paper still on them. 48" or so wide signs!
