How much extra does it cost to get a little shaft play?

20 bucks, I have a dead 14b for sale too.

I think I may have dropped about 40 IQ points in the last 2 years of my life. Maybe radon or something. I give up. Maybe I'll build a car for HPDEs with CL parts. And race it HPR.

I'm thinking to sell my NB and use the money to fund the FD rebuild this spring. It means I wouldn't have anything to track/autox for the year though.

Does the FD have an LS engine in it? If not then do not do it.

No, wankel baby as Mazda intended. As for the vette, I have been thinking of getting a used C5 Z06 in a few years to replace the miata for track use anyway. In the mean time, i just use the RX7 for the occasional track day (just drive carefully).

There was a guy up in MD that I talked to 5-6 years back about tracking an FD. He was at VIR on the back straight and the motor just decided to die on him. He had it at the dealership being fixed because that was where one of the most knowledgeable RX7 techs were at. He said the total bill to have the engine fixed, and turbos replaced or whatever was going to have to be fixed would run him about $10k. That is the day I decided I would never track an FD with a rotary in it.

My motor has 101k original miles on it. A well known retired racer and rotary engine builder up in Green Bay will rebuild it for $2600 and guarantee it to 600 bhp. I'm staying twins but going with upgraded BNRs and shooting for 350 - 400 rwhp. It's not miata prices, but it's not LS1 swap either. This is going to be more my AutoX/Street queen long term, but till I buy a vette in a few years, she will see a few track days.

There are a lot of folks that don't take care of or poorly tune their rotaries and they blow up. But, there are also a lot of folks that due know how to take care of them and track them quite successfully. I'm working on eliminating a lot of the over complication and emissions crap and addressing the cooling issues with a custom V-Mount. I'm following several successful builds and I'm not too worried about the motor in the end. What I'm worried about, is my **** driving and putting it in a wall. They didn't make very many CYM R1s

Ian originated the v mount on the fd. I here they gave him his own stickie on the fd sight. He autoxs with me in N. Cal FAST car. His fc is amazing and broken again . The fd is reliable for him. He just put $2700 in the clutch though and did all the labor. $1500 front sway bar and replaced GAB'a with Olins shocks and springs. Buying special order 12 s that he had to waite a year too recieve.Money hungry beast that is sooo fast. Love that car

Certain things are outrageously expensive over here. Those two bikes you mentioned would be close to $20K in Turkey.

A friend of mine bought an Audi Q7 in the states. In Seattle, to be exact, and she paid something like 45K for it. They go for $177,678 for the 3 liter diesel version here.
I literally do not understand how this can happen.

Assume that a Q7 costs $45k in the US, and that the same car costs $177k in Turkey. That's $132k difference, assuming we're talking US$ in both cases.

Where is that extra $132,000 going?

I'm serious.

Does the Turkish government tax the importation of German cars at 300% of MSRP? Do Audi dealers in Turkey make forty times as much profit as dealers in the US? Does Audi itself hate the Turkish people and want you to suffer?

Anyone in particular, or just in general?

I thought that the former "Mrs. Reynolds" should have been given a little time alone with Jayne as punishment before being handed over to the authorities.
