And then you blow up the main battery and say "You know, this would be a good time to upgrade to an even more powerful motor, and a much higher voltage battery. You know, one that you can weld with."

Pretty soon you're zipping up hills at 30 MPH, passing olympic-level cyclists like they were standing still. And you get to thinking "This is nice and all, but I wonder what would happen if I picked up a cheap, lightweight supermotard frame and stuck an even bigger motor and the mother of all batteries into it?"
Sounds like you have first hand experience with this...?

Am I smoking crack, or wasn't there another company working on a turbo kit for NA's to compete with BEGI and FM?

Is this flywheel salvageable or should I get a fresh one? I'm not sure how much material is safe to take off these things so it has a fresh surface again.

I have one that looks about the same. If I had the time to take it to a decent shop, I would clean it up and remove the same amount from the posts as off the friction surface. I would think it is safe as long as you don't go as far as the radius at the bottom of the posts.

god ******* damnit, I am so sick and tired of people making deals and backing out of their commitment. Two ******* people have decided that they don't want to go 50/50 for an engine hoist. Now I'm gonna be stuck with the full bill because one of them decided that using his neighbor's friend's, friend's tractor was easier and the other decided that 70 dollars was just too steep. Now my main issue is the tractor retard was going to stop by the nearest Harbor Freight (118 miles away) since he drives there every week to see his ugly girl friend and I've been waiting for weeks for him to actually do it.

He just doesn't understand why I don't want to have to rely on some ******* stranger and their tractor to remove my motor/trans by hanging a chain on bucket with no leveler. Not to mention my car is in a ******* garage, so I'd have to roll it into the middle of the street and hope this dude shows up and then some how get the **** 30 feet back into the garage with out dropping it on concrete and ******* my motor up.

I seriously hate this ****. I am so sick and tired of being surrounded by unreliable people.

What?! No way! Not a $70 excuse to slow your build 3 more years! How about stay at work 1 extra hour this week...oh wait, you're in FL, there's no above min. wage jobs there.

Go to the local book store and find a super street, or other such import magazine. Find the page with the Harbor Freight add in it. Tear out the page with the coupon for a $99 engine hoist. Go to Harbor Freight and use the coupon and enjoy your $100 engine hoist.

I made enough money last night to buy the hoist, but it doesn't mean I want to spend it all. I am extremely frugal (possible jew?). I learned from the best

It's also about the shitty, shitty attitude that people have down here.

I ******* love you, Brain.

We don't have book stores that carry magazines. Seriously. We do have a plethora of gay/lesbian book stores, though. We did have a small Borders outlet store, but it closed and turned into a Petsmart. I'll check the grocery stores later.

Also, time is money. It's a long trip, about 250 miles, to save some money. If I can find that coupon for 100 dollars. last time I checked the coupon was for $40 off making it $140+tax+gas cost to drive (maybe $50) = nearly the same as the Autocraft one in Key West.

But...for ****'s sake...why are people so unreliable?

I will go up to the local book store tonight and steal the coupon for you.
