Holy crap Oscar. The Netherlands and Belgium? They KNOW their beer. I've never had anything like that Westvleteren 12 before. It literally blew my socks off, the hype does not do it justice in any way, shape, or form.

Hell, that bottle of Westvleteren I had made the trip over here worth it on it's own.

I've never had a fine taste for alcohols. People will rant and rave about something and get me to try it... yeah, it's okay... "Okay!? It's ******* great!" Yeah, okay. Tastes like a beer, whiskey, vodka, or whatever it is, to me. I've tried so many kinds of beer trying to find one that would blow my socks off and be my favorite, but alas I have only found mediocrity in everything that is supposed to be mind blowing. I always fall back on something simple and light like Warsteiner, Grolsch or ...PBR

I second most of this. Only I just don't really like alcohols. I don't mind a beer (could be anything I can't tell the difference) or two when hanging with friends, but nothing I would drink on my own.

I really don't either. I've tried, but none of the flavors sit well with me, and the effects don't outweigh the taste and bad effects I get from them. I have some kind of mild alcohol intolerance. I drink from time to time, but I certainly don't just sit around and drink all night, every night like some people I know.

I have only had one bottle of my 6 pack, for this reason. What makes it better? The style is storable. But this isnt the beer thread to discuss it.

I'm not sure which is funnier. The original statement, or you people responding to it. Trying to imagine one literally having their socks blown off while taking a drink of beer.

I'd imagine it would take a lot to blow socks off. Shoes, I can see that. But socks are a different story.

The Mythbusters tested this one.

Long story short: you can do it, but it takes a massively lethal blow.

Isn't it common for at least shoes to fly off when getting hit by a vehicle?

Sounds like I need to post more after I've had alcohol if people get that much enjoyment out of the stupid **** I say when I've had something to drink.

Literally?

I literally would love to read literature, but sadly I'm literally illiterate.. Good thing I know how to type or I'd really be screwed. Literally .

I was trying to imagine a scenario where one would get screwed, literally, if they couldn't type.

then i thought of my own sex life and how much my wife complains I spend too much time on the computer...

I literally just drank a delicious drink. Now it's time to literally go work out. Then I literally have class the rest of the day. I literally can't wait until the weekend. This game is literally a lot of fun.

Define a "day." If it's a 24-hour cycle, I think you just messed up.

Also, if you literally can not wait until the weekend, what are the consequences now that you must? Will you die?

Or did you just screw up the use of "literally?"

the game is better when you understand what literally means.
