I did the Wheeler Crit tonight in OKC; business travel is way better with bicycle racing. Most of the field was insanely pissed as my first two attacks were acting, the third attack gave me about 1/2 lap on the field, DNA sent two guys after me, I acted tired, attacked again, they went with me for another two laps, I pretended to not be tired whilst suffering cardiac arrest, the pack caught me. However, I managed to get about 30 of the 50 racers pulled on that last attack (lapped them) and got a warning for encouraging and then riding the wheel of lapped riders, lol. I love crit racing.

tandem 2.0
di2 hydro is like it was meant for a tandem. I would like an ultegra 3x crank setup though to get the range without needing that massive cassette (with equally massive tooth jumps). If a 3x front di2 road derailleur came out I would swap over right away.

Those of you who have not met Trey in real life should know that this sums up his personality perfectly

Hey, I'm resourceful. You have to first yell at them to hurry and get out of the way, then get on their wheel.

ELI5?

What I think you said is you made the OKC bike riders your beta bottom bitch, but I am not really up to date on bike lingo. So I could be wrong.

No joke. One of the other engineers took a personal day today. He flew to Denver. We had to call him because he left his toolbox locked with a specific toolholder inside, and well he was useless.

Wait I am a little confused, did he just want to do it legally? I saw an awesome documentary about NYC a few years back called Half-Baked. There was this guy named Samson who would deliver to you, and Jersey ain't that far from NYC. So I figure by now they have expanded to delivering out towards you.

I'm not sure. I think they were having specials today.

He's lit most of the time he's not at work, i think. He's also a farmer (for real, has a 12acre farm and a stand on the weekends). I wouldn't be surprised if he supplies the local dealers.

Maybe he's going to get some seeds?

Bike related: did my first zwift race last night. Much better workout than their 'workouts'. Dropped on last lap.

I have some very sad news.
After much deliberation and a few rides, I added another spacer under my stem, so I'm back to two spacers under the stem. This brings me great sadness.

Pro Bike Building 101: The steerer tube is to always be cut short enough such that the placement of spacers under the stem is not possible.
