Now no one will ever follow me in a break, which is pretty cool. I know that's the first thing I look at when a break rolls away.

Haha, good thinking. I don't race, but it's subconsciously one of the first things I look at when I come across someone else while on a ride.

I actually leave a little room under the stem so that I can put 5-10 mm worth of spacers under it when I'm not as fit & flexible.

I think I have adequate flexibility but my undercarriage seems to get in the way, like the shape of my undercarriage shouldn't rotate and further forward.

I am basically paralyzed by my shitty climbing ability that it's keeping me from going on vacation. Ugh.

It appears I am #1 in line for one of these at a place that will surely get a few frames:

Well, you see, it doesn't have them because it is a proper road bike. Also, the embodiment of perfection. I'm actually getting it for a friend who's going to buy it off me and make it art. My next bike is the double-purple CAAD12, if I can will myself to hang-up the blue bike.

What I want right now more than anything else is a set of tubulars for CX but not sure it's worth the money and effort required to run them.

If you're looking for a 54cm Boone in white/blue/black, I can get you a great deal on the frame.

When you have a color problem and need to tone it down, show a little restraint:

A trek mountain bike? You already have one of those.

Did my first real group ride yesterday @ 50mi 20mph avg (only 1100 ft), with a friendly group of riders. 6 of us total, nice tight organized paceline the whole time. Do love the GF jakroo bibs. I'm liking the Van Dessel more and more the more I ride it, requires a different hand position than the tarmac for stability, strangely enough. It does some things as good as the Tarmac, but nothing better so jury is still out on whether I will part it out or not. But holy dogshit it's stiff; rough roads caused the GPS mount and seat clamp to loosen up.

It's a shop-bros, was told I had to ride it. It's a $10k or whatever bike with huge carbon fiber wheels too. It has colossal grip, would describe it as going from NT-01s to R6s, similar break away characteristics, way easier to control the bike on what I perceived to be the limit of traction. For the first time I was able to chase the extremely fast cat-1 MTB bros (two with stripes) and keep up. For some reason I can't do that on my Top Fuel.
