New cross bike. If I go to nats in Reno this year, my B bike has to be drop bars. No flat bar bikes at UCI races. So my Van Dessel Full Tilt Boogie is being left in Gravel Bike trim with a 2x Di2 setup. The FTB is cushy but not particularly stiff. Great for gravel races but too whippy for cross. So I replaced it with this new TCX. Hi modulus carbon, very light and stiff frameset. Rival 1 group is really heavy though. Swapped some of my old race wheels on, old XTR cranks with Stage meter, 3T Ergonova Carbon bars replace the OEM alloy bar, and an old ti railed saddle replace the OEM Manganese rail tank. SS cages and voila, race bike. 17.8 lbs as pictured. Wish it was lighter but that would require a new grouppo. Meh, this is good enough. China carbon tubs, Bitex, Sapim race, Challenge Grifo Team 33c with a splash of Orange seal.

I was using the Stages meter in that screen, not the native meter. I changed that last night, performance is way up. Not sure how to get cadence with the Stages meter and power with the trainer.

Pretty happy with these results, considering I've only done about 2000mi since the ride last year. Need to find more time to ride, perhaps a beater Emonda ALR for wet/winter too, since the Zwift/Trainer setup and I don't always get along. Added a few things too

Bike is basically set, just need more miles. Trying the 100mm stem because on the hoods after 60mi or so I start getting some aching in my lower back, almost feels like I'm cramped a bit. Also want more length when in the drops. I def think a 54cm is the right size for me, tried a 56 the other day (which is 20mm longer frame and 10mm longer stem than mine) and i definitely felt out of place on it. We'll see if the longer stem helps.

This was through the rubber/plastic belly guard too. I'm done with plastic bikes- they don't last for me. I don't care about weight anymore- just have to get strong.
not sure- I think both of them would have been ride-able. The white bike would have been almost exclusively in tension too- I've seen dents pop out or get more shallow from use.
