I was really hoping that Hughes would loose, I think when Gsp kicked his *** it was a real wake up call, but that fight was pathetic. former champ vs random dude should have been a clinic on MMA...

and Sylvia sucked. he got out boxed, and schooled on how bad his takedown defense really is. being 6'8" most of the time his sloppy *** leaning over sprawl was enough to defend the take down... on the other hand I think I could watch every one of Coutures past fights and not seen his performance coming. I think he actually looks younger now than when he retired...


I wish I could find a damn bar in SD that showed mma, I would GLADLY play a 5$ cover...

a guy i was taking Muay Thai with today went to the Randy vs Tim match. he said it was terrible because you get **** seats, are surrounded by drunk bastards, and no one really knows MMA there (most people were yhelling out "do the DDP to his ***" or "Stone cold stunner!")

 

Hughes lost that fight mentally...... he won the decision.... but he can't possibly be happy with his performance

 

Judo, was a member of the USJA national team and made it as far as the US Open.

hughes should have walked through him, but "the most dominant blah blah blah" seemed a little too closely matched with the random guy from reality tv show.

I was really hoping franklin would get destroyed, but I just kinda wanted a shakeup.

 

I was really thinking that Macdonald would been able to do better against Franklin, but I was wrong. That is ok, I am relieved just to see Tim get his *** handed to him by Randy.
