i didn't watch. but im assuming the mustang pwnt.

lets see... advertsiment done.

Braineack 06-11-2012 01:30 PM

guess not.

18psi 06-11-2012 01:32 PM

nope. they were within .01 seconds of each other and the subaru "felt" much better doing it. tight and nimble vs big and sloppy. Just as expected.

I'm glad at least some cars will still be available in under 3k lbs. I mean even the new civics are almost 3k these days. That's pretty sad.

if the genesis didn't weigh like 1000000000000000000000lbs, it would be a no-brainer

18psi 06-11-2012 01:43 PM

also, how sad is it that the NC is the slowest in group even slower than fail wheel drive gti?

so shameful

yeah really. I'm curious what the v6 genesis would do.

I laugh a little when people tesitng the genesis says it has little low-end. it makes like 270rwtq at 2000rpm, but that curb weight....ugh.

pusha 06-11-2012 01:46 PM

I can't believe you guys are actually taking what auto writers say as fact

18psi 06-11-2012 01:47 PM

sorry bro, we should just accept your dumb a$$ ramblings as fact since you obviously drove and tested all these cars

pusha 06-11-2012 01:52 PM

I was hoping for an airbag, but was disappointed.

Look fellas even in non SS form, the Cobalt is actually quite fun to drive.

I've driven a few as rentals, and in the process of my usual rental car whoring-abuse, I realized that damn I was having a great time with the Cobalt. Of course, the switches did fall through the console when I pressed them but I would love to drive a cobalt SS turbo if they didn't resale for $14,000 of white trash fanboy fail.

I haven't kept up at all on the Genesis, so I had to look up the curb weight.

I thought it was joke. Seriously. Nearly 3400lbs for the v6

On a more related note:

With the debut event over, Kenji Sumino, President of Greddy, revealed his future plans for the FR-S. “The first thing on the agenda is a turbo kit. Placement is going to be tricky with the engine configuration—the FR-S is more of a front midship design so space for a turbo is limited. Now that we have some time, our engineers are going to be busy.” Besides boost, a host of aftermarket parts such as exhaust systems, intake kit, headers, lowering springs, strut bars, control arms, oil cooler kit, radiator, as well as accessories, are all being developed by Greddy. Kenji plans on offering a full engine part catalog to augment the turbo kit down the line.

A quick google search shows that TRD is likely going to make a supercharger kit for the cars.
