Can you imagine how shitty guns they'd sell now would have to be? You can't even get a decent adjustable end wrench from Sears anymore. :(

Jesus, you and I both. Cut up KITS are like 1k and the receivers are a bitch to bend......

The flats alone are $200 and I haven't seen a kit for less than $1500.

A guy on Weapons Guild is building up a blowback 9mm MP5K. He built the trunnion, bolt carrier/bolt and a number of other parts himself. He did the heat treating for the trunnion in a fire pit.

There's some controversy on whether the MP5 really needs chamber flutes or not. If it doesn't that would really bring the cost of the barrel down.

Speaking of over priced kits, my Tula Krinkov kit arrived last night.

Recently acquired a brand new in box Remington 3200 skeet, never been shot.

http://www.remington.com/products/ar...odel-3200.aspx

Do I shoot a few rounds of skeet with it, or leave it in the gun safe?

pusha 06-08-2012 11:04 PM

that's an old gun.

I wouldn't fire it if it's already gone this long. what length barrels?

elesjuan 06-08-2012 11:58 PM

I'd leave it in the safe well oiled. :)

pusha 06-09-2012 12:42 AM

bought a police turn-in 870 Magnum today for $200.

I'll post pics later

Not at all! They built in thumb/finger tabs on either side of the follower; so you simply side the follower down as you load a new round at the top. I *think* they are 25rd mags, can't remember and too lazy to check right now...

as a former MP5 owner, I have to say it isn't that impressive of a subgun

26". Serial # 20xxx, trying to find a serial # decoder.

pusha 06-09-2012 03:32 PM

check the HK boards under the NFA section, you may be able to find something there

Bought a used Dillon RL550 press last night... thinking I didn't really need it.

Anyone looking for a great press to get started reloading? Comes with some rifle dies (308/300 weatherby) and pistol (carbide 38/357) and a new Quick change powder kit/stand/toolhead....

What it came with and retail prices:

So does anyone want this Dillon RL550B?

400+shipping and I'm going to keep either the .308 or 38/357 die set.

pusha 06-20-2012 11:25 AM

so basically you'd be keeping the only die sets I'd be interest in.

THANKS BRO

I'd only be keeping one of them, just torn on which :p. Probably the 38/357 (which is the cheaper one anyways, i'd leave the 38/357 conversion kit with the press also).

I'm going to just pick one up locally, I'm sure shipping would be a huge bitch

Probably not bad actually, it came in its original (bit old) box and packaging materials. So I'd tape it up, drop it into a fresh box and its ready to go.

pusha 06-20-2012 12:06 PM

have you ever fapped to a copy of Dillon Press?
