Finally starting to have some confidence in my setup - after several gunshops failed at scope mounts/rings, I got my own and put them on. After shooting several dissapointing 2" groups at 50 yards, I switched to some decent ammunition. The result: I'm now putting rounds through the same hole. |

The sight was way off to the right - like 35 minutes off - no way I was getting 35 minutes worth of adjustement out of the scope; total is 50 minutes, which means 25 minutes center-to-limit. - The leupold bases have a left-right mechanism for the rear ring, but you need a screwdriver. Unfortunately, none of us had a screwdriver readily available. The closest thing I could find were the keys to that cable lock, which have been stashed in my range bag since I bought the gun (The lock came with the gun). Made about 1 thread worth of adjustment on the rear ring and brought the zero from 35 minutes right to about 2 minutes right. Finished up by adjusting the two minutes right and about 12 minutes up, put some good ammo in, and now I'm zeroing/grouping on a dime at 50 yards. In hindsight, a quarter probably would have worked better than the keys to that cable lock... |

my own mother picked one of these up this morning for her CCW... I was skeptical at first, but the thing is actually pretty easy to hold for its small size, still I would take a 9mm over a 380 anyday, but this little sh!t is pretty slick. Fired it in the afternoon with the family, its trigger pull is okay, but not exciting, but the only issue i have, is its design for lightweight concealment with the polymer receiver, and steel slide, it definitely has quite the recoil for such a small caliber round.

Now it comes down to your budget. For $200, you can get a Savage, put a $30 scope on it, and make holes in your holes at 100yds with mid-grade ammo. If you want to spend $400, then go with the CZ, put a $200 scope on it, and make holes in your holes at 200yds with top-grade ammo.

Also... don't overlook how you're going to shoot this gun. If you're going to be seated at a bench shooting at targets, then invest in a good "rest" setup. You can attach any manner of bipod to this gun, or get a quality rest that you can use with all guns. There are dozens of rests out there, from cheapo $10 plastic jobs, all the way up to micro-adjusting dick-swelling units.
