So does anyone want this Dillon RL550B?
400+shipping and I'm going to keep either the .308 or 38/357 die set.

Why, are the "Blue Press Girls" wearing something more racy than pencil skirts or halter tops now?

The Fredrick's of Hollywood catalog was way better, you missed out |
I'll weigh/measure the box tonight and get a rough number. It'll be cost of outer box and actual shipping, nothing more.

Why, are the "Blue Press Girls" wearing something more racy than pencil skirts or halter tops now? 2 Updates to the plan: I did choose to take the 38/357 die set BUT I found the powder funnel for it, so that conversion kit is now Complete and will stay with the Press. I was also wrong about the .308 being carbide, it is the standard Dillon, but there is ALSO the Redding .308 die set. Buyer gets to PICK ONE OF THE .308 sets, I'll keep what they don't want. (Dillon costs more...) Album full of everything! http://s295.photobucket.com/albums/m...litime/Dillon/ Rough relist: Dillon 550B with all parts (primer catch is included forgot to put into picture) Large and small primer bar New Quick change kit (with small/large powder bar) Redding .270 Winchester NK 71 Neck Sizing die Redding .308 Winchester 3 die set Redding .300 Weatherby 2 die set Dillon .308 Winchester 3 die set .45 Conversion kit (complete - pins/plate/funnel) .38/.357 Conversion kit (complete - pins/plate/funnel) .308/30-06 Conversion kit (pins/plate) .300 Win Conversion kit (pins/plate) Lymans 47th Reloading Handbook |
Sexy! I was going to ask for pictures, I'll punch him in the brain tomorrow and get back to you. PM me your email address and I'll get him in touch with you directly.
Hell, I may jump on this if I can convince myself to start another hobby :crx: |

Got the PM and passed along your address and the links to the Google doc and the album. I told him to get his ass moving today as its posted to a public board already. If you don't hear from a dude in CA named Matt by tomorrow morning, I wouldn't wait for him.

the only magpul thing I use are p mags and that's only when I can't find old steel mags.
I don't really think their products are that cool. oh I also have an moe front end on a 6920. the moe stuff isn't mine and I'm too lazy to give it back to my bro |

I will say though, they are decent quality for the price. I don't mind the used MOE grip and stock on the new rifle. I also do really like the B.A.D. lever which I forgot to order another of for this new build.
I don't like messing with the ergonomics of ARs, they feel too natural to me in their normal configuration |

I've realized I don't like the short sight radius on my AR, plus I don't really like the look of the 16" barrel with the short handguard. I thought about hunting down a clamp-on FSB and going all "Dissipator" style with a rifle length handguard, but I can't locate one that will fit my barrel at that length, AND I'm not sure I could get the sight tower on there straight anyway. I've got tools but I'd prefer not to buy $300 in jigs and crap to make this happen. I could buy a complete DelTon Disy upper for that. Now I'm thinking about pulling the FSB and hand guard off my upper, and replacing it with a low pro gas block and some sort of spiffy free float tube. I dont have an AR friendly gunsmith in the area, so this will need to be all DIY. I don't need a bunch of tacti-cool heavy ass hand grinder picatinny rails all over the place for "activities" but I do want the ability to mount a front site on the thing. I've got all the tools to make that happen, all I would need is the rail (I've already got a low pro gas block & DD detachable front and rear fixed sight set from another project) Questions for you AR builders out there: 1) Does the barrel really need to be dimpled for the block, or will the set screws + locktite be enough? 2) Are there any free float fore-end tubes out there that are stable enough for a front site? (see below) 3) Am I going about this the wrong way? Should I just say "fuckit!" and get a 20" A3/A4 upper and be done with it? I'm thinking something like 12" or 13" tube with a continuous top rail, something like this from MI: Midwest Industries Gen 2 SS-Series Free Float Modular Rail https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1340394715 I'm not sure why, but I really like this layout, 12" on 16": https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1340394715 Found this 15" on a 16" @ M4Carbine.net: https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1340394715 Found another 15" on a 16" @ AR15.com: http://i680.photobucket.com/albums/v...3-03114505.jpg What say you? |

I have a Daniel Defense 12.5" on a 14.5" pinned barrel with site that works fine. (ignore grip-pod and light, no longer on it)
https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1340402032 My latest I've just done away with sights and gone optic though... 18" seems to be a nice sweet spot (for 3gun/mix of short/longer range shooting), rifle length gas. Supposed bonus of rifle length is softer gas impulse, combined with a lighter buffer/spring/adjustable gas block can create a really soft shooting gun (bb feeling gun AR?) https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1340402032 |
