Sweet. Added you to the post above, and also created a parking list so we know how much space to save. I'll be going to the track as soon as it opens on Friday and will save as much space as possible.
Yeah, you can typically drop trailers in the paddock starting 3-4 PM on Friday. I leave my trailer & car there, drive the truck to/from the hotel.
I'll probably be there for Baja Cantina.

Wait, none of you guys are staying for Saturday night party at the track???
My buddy is trailering and I'm driving from San Diego, would be great to meet all of you.
Saturday night party
The party will take place at the Hospitality Pavilion at the track and blues band Red Beans and Rice will be performing. There will be a cash bar and lots of food. The cost is $20 per person.

Unless I'm way off base here and all of you are not talking about Miatas at Laguna Seca on October 1 and 2. If you are, then you need to take a look at the official page. Dinner at the track is buffet style and they will have drinks available and live music going.

Dang, just read that a bunch of you are camping out. I was going to do the same, but my friend talked me into splitting cost of hotel (which is still expensive). I would rather spend the money on new bushing set.

I've been unimpressed with the official Miatas@MRLS dinner/party/bbq/etc that I've been to, so I've quit bothering to go. Mediocre, overpriced food, long lines, crowded tables, boring speeches, etc.

Well, then I'll just see you at the track. I've already paid for the dinner/party and after a full day of driving I'll be hella tired, so staying right there for the rest of the evening is quite appealing.
I mean, maybe they have gotten their collective **** together since then, but until I hear otherwise I'm just not interested.

Yes, what everyone else said about the Saturday night party. I've never been, but would much rather be with 15-20 of us at a place with better food than hundreds of wine and cheesers and a band nobody wants to listen to.

So what time are we doing this? Let's do it late enough to allow time for a shower between the track and dinner.
As far as parking is concerned, I'll be driving my crew cab 3/4 pickup, not my Miata.
