Ok, going to make the reservation tonight at Baja. I'm seeing 25 right now?

 

I have no idea what we are doing. It all depends on what days hailey can get off work. Ideal plan will be leave portland wednesday. But instead we might bombing down friday, and taking our time on the way back up.

Either way were doing i5 one way, coast route the other.

So I'm guessing we aren't all going to try to meet up for breakfast on Friday? Or would that just confuse things at this point

Tonight I'm making a dinner reservation for a cluster of tables for 25 butts @ Baja for 7pm on Sat the 1st. Anyone got a problem with that?

I am likely spending Thursday night in a rest stop somewhere along the way. I do not know how far I will make it Thursday, will be driving solo. But I plan to make it basically all the way to Monterey. Maybe.

 

I'm aiming to arrive early afternoon on Friday, definitely won't be in Monterey for breakfast.

If somehow I end up wrenching on some unknown at gesso's place on Thursday night then sure, but I'm not driving to SF for breakfast on Friday.

Probably a good idea. It'll give us more wiggle room when we push the tables together.

 

No breakfast for me on Friday, I'm still going to be on a plane coming back from Europe. I guess I'll how well jet lag and track driving mix...

ya no breakfast for me. 30 would be a better idea so we can have more wiggle room like EO2K said.

That would be awesome. Is the guest room large enough to set up two beds? Looking like my plans have changed slightly -- will no longer be accompanied by girlfriend, but will be accompanied by dad. Unfortunately he's not as good looking as girlfriend [was]...

 

Update: I've tried twice now to place the non-private reservation for 30 with Baja and I'm starting to get the run around. The last nice hostess lady I spoke to gave me an email address for one of the managers so I sent that out last night. If I don't get a reply by the end of the day I'll just drive over there after work.

 

No problem, I got an inflatable mattress we can set up in the next room. There are actually 2 rooms, but space will be a little tight.
