I didnt read any of this thread, but hopefully OP will stick around. This forum could use some diversity.

Honestly you'll be fine. Your writing is fully sane and comprehensible and it has been form the start. Just dress it up all pretty with caps, commas, and periods. This is the best way to extract information from this wonderfully knowledge rich and morally abhorrent website.
Well thank you for the pointer and teaching me that it is highly frowned upon to use horrible grammar and punctuation. I have learned my lesson.

I could be wrong, but I believe diversity is an old, old wooden ship that was used during the Civil War era.

Entertaining thread, although most of it is rambling off topic because there is a new female here. I wonder how many comments it would have if "GIRL" was omitted form the title. Anyway welcome!

So that's where Brain's sig came from. I always wondered.

It would probably have been a longer thread if it was in the DIY turbo section and the OP asked about what ebay supercharger kit works the best and if he will need to run a 5th injector.

True, but for a welcome thread it's alot in a short time frame. My friend joined and his welcome thread consisted of Brain's welcome spam and that's it.

Ha. My first posts were in a thread where I was buying a used MP62 and had questions.

Asking intelligent questions and communicating in an adult manner do a lot to alleviate the piling on most newbies get. The fact that the OP is still here speaks volumes.

I went through 20 pages of Meet and Greet threads, and there are only 3 five star threads in all of them. Thought I would point that out.

Probably a lot, since people would be berating the OP since "who's a new miata owner from LINY" isn't a sentence or a very good title for a meet-n-greet thread.

I'm not one to back down from the internet of people sitting behind computers or their phone typing half of the crazy comments. I'd love to hear them say it to my face, I am sure most wouldn't. On a brighter note, I am still HERE!

Hmmm, I don't know whether to be confused by the thread having 5 stars or laugh.

Next time I will put "A girl who is a new owner of a miata in L.I.NY." I could have always posted the title as "90' miata newbie, what what!"

To be honest, at this point I can't think about anything other than "Oh, God. I wonder if she pronounces the name 'Long Island' correctly, or if the 'g' winds up getting detached from 'lon' and transposed onto the beginning of 'guyland'."

That's really about the only pet peeve I have about living here in the city.

Long Islanders do not say Long Guyland - that's a myth.
