All MS users, chime in!
controller?
the controller for the mtx-l is built into the gauge itself (at least to my knowledge)
send it off to innovate - let them have a look
or get a new one - they are only like 160-175 new

Yes, it is built into the gauge, or rather, the gauge itself is the controller... This is the selling point for the MTX-L, the gauge is fully digital with no DAC in between the controller and gauge.
Meh, might send it to Innovate once I have my car tuned to perfection!

1998, MSII "enhanced" by Reverant, running an MP62 hotside SC, Port WI, COPs, table switching, launch control, Innovate LC1, killer 8 in 1 LCD gauge set with alarms. And, new leather seats.
99 / FM voodoo 2 / DIYPNP / Toyota COP / 440cc Supra injectors / 2.5" exhaust / MTX-L WB
Just completing install and doing initial tuning. I am pretty impressed so far with the DIYPNP. I previously had a Hydra and was not incredibly impressed, especially when you consider the price.

Just ordered an Enhanced MS2 from Reverant. Soon to have Keegan build bottom-end, stock head, bastardized FM/BEGi 2560 kit. I plan to use the MXT-L and a couple other Innovate gauges.
No experience with tuning, ever.
Dear God, what have I gotten myself into?

Picked up my Enhanced MS2 from the post office today. MTX-L, tuning cable, and Serial to USB adapter are on the way.
Car is a bone stock 2000. I'm considering dynoing the car stock, then dynoing again at the same shop after installing and tuning the MS2. First shop I called was $65 for 3 dyno pulls, will call around to see if I can find a better deal.
