Default D14 and D16 always on

I noticed that when I power up the MS2 D14 and D16 are always on, I am running the improved spark output mod.

I have yet to test everything with jimstim and tunerstudio, but just wondering should these be on all the time?

This even happens when I pull the MS2 expansion card.

I looked for a short in the U1 as well as the led drive transistors. Everythign checks out fine...

Be sure spark output is set to going high / inverted.

the LEDs will appear to "look" always on. Test them back to 5v and you can see them clicking on and off rapidly.

Please confirm my understanding of the above diagram. Using D14 led drive as an example.

Cpu output not active, 0V @ Q6 base, Q6 switch off

5V @ 2N3904 base, 2N3904 switch on, D14 to ground (led glowing red)

0V potential @ 2N3904 collector, igniter coil not active.

So basically cpu signal off -> led "on" -> Coil inactive

Therefore even if the cpu is removed form the board and power is applied the led will still be active.

Is this correct?
