It looks like a gold lion rampant on a field of azure, except that instead of a gold lion it's a flat line with occasional spikes corresponding to sudden increases in MAP and momentary enrichment of the fuel PW, and instead of an azure field, it's usually presented against a black background.

This thread has some excellent info on grounding. I'm thinking of using the V3.0 mainboard injector channels for directly driving a oscillating water pump for water injection. I intend to rewind an Ulka coffee machine pump for 12V operation and expect to see up to 10 amp current. Thus grounding will be important.
I like JasonC's idea of using a Schmitt trigger grounded onto the high current side. Lifting the Q1/Q5 from the mainboard ground is easily done by disconnecting the other leg of R37/R38 and running a separate ground wire from it. Naturally I will also have to connect Q14/Q15 and D17/D18 to the same ground.
My question is does it matter which ground I connect the flyback and flyback pwm -circuits to?
Also does anyone know of any dual channel schmitt triggers that would fit place of the IXDI404? I think fitting the larger 74C14 might necessitate another little auxiliary board.

I guess the Q3 (/Q11) flyback circuit in box with note 2 should be grounded to the high current side. Looks like I could achieve that fairly easily by lifting a couple of component legs.
However, I must say I don't fully understand how the flyback pwm circuit in box with note 3 works. Looks like it clamps the injector flyback to a maximum of about 12V. When it is active, I don't know. Anyway, R30 and R31 limit the current going through Q10, so it might be ok on the analog ground. This way the processor gets to control Q10 via fb_inj1 reliably without voltage difference in grounds.
