Default Need help with MS3 wiring for VVT and Wideband

I have a Reverant basic MS3 that he set up for my 99 chassis with a 2001 motor in it. I am running an AEM wideband and the MS3 should be set up to control the VVT.

I can't for the life of me find any wiring diagrams for hooking up the VVT solenoid or the wideband to my setup. Their were no instuctions or diagrams that came with the MS3. I'm sure my search phrases are the issue as I don't think I am blazing a new trail or anything here.

I know the basics of how the wide band and VVT work, I just need specific wire information which I can't seem to find.

Yes, I did send him a PM.

Got it, thanks! I searched your website for it evidently not very well though. I did find some interesting info on wideband grounding and ecu grounding in my search so all was not lost.

Since his PM box is full I will post this here and maybe somebody else can help me out before he sees it.

Got a quick question, in the directions you say that one wire coming from the VVT solenoid goes to the violet wire going into the MS3 via the 37 pin connector and the other goes to a switched 12 V source.

Does that source need to be hot in "run" only or "run" and "start" key positions? I was looking at the 99 wiring diagrams and it uses that phrasing when talking about keyed hot connections. I was unable to find a 2001 wiring diagram to see how it is wired in those cars. If you have a link to a 2001 wiring diagram that would be helpful too.

Thanks, I just wanted to make sure it didn 't need to have power in the "start" position for some reason.

I'm in the same boat as the OP. My MS3 Basic for a MSM from the original group buy didn't come with any documentation or wiring diagrams. Originally I assumed it would have the same I/O as a normal MS3X but I've seen posts indicating this isn't necessarily true.

Any info I could get would be much appreciated.
