Look what the mailman brought me!
Yup, a big ol' box of flow tested injectors.
These injectors are seriously awesome. I'm matching up sets to get the people their orders, and then in the next few days I'll a more in depth analysis with our sweet *** data visualization tools at work.
The short version of this story is that these flow matched sets are matched within the limits of measurement, and in all honesty the flow rates are so consistent you probably don't need flow matched sets for the majority of applications. That fact doesn't help me since I just paid a few hundred bucks to get these all flow tested, but if nobody did that, then how would we all know how precisely these flow from the factory? It seriously undermines any plans I had to build a little business around flow matching and selling these injectors for different applications, but hey, now everyone wins!
I think we can all take comfort in the fact that these injectors are really the best things going for our cars.

It's the leaning tower of injectors!
Three of those are shipping out tomorrow, one is spoken for, and the other is ready for whoever wants it. I've only got a couple left and then that is it!

After a little fiddling, I was able to get each set into a range of less than 1% for wide open flow, and both simulation rates (2400RPM at 12ms pulse, and 3000RPM at 6ms pulse). Resistance was all within about 3% across the board, and I didn't optimize for closer matching than that in the sets.

Injector kits went out to everyone who paid already in today's mail. They should get to people on Saturday or Monday. I have one kit left ready to go, which is being held for LilxMoises until tomorrow and then it will be up for grabs. I'm waiting on a few more pnp bits and then there will be 2 more flow matched sets that will be available.
After that, you guys tell me. Are sets matched to within 1% valuable? Or should I try to put together the cheapest non-flowtested sets I can? Do you want to source your own injectors, in which case I'll work on getting the price down on the pnp parts?

I shipped them off for the more advanced battery of tests this morning, so I dearly hope to have an answer for you within 7 days. At this point it is out of my hands though. Pray to the injector gods and they may be kind to you.

" @4 bar for 550cc
tested on more than 10 cars:
8V - 2.229
10V - 1.493
12V - 1.099
14V - 0.800
16V - 0.693
Test this only with the engine at full temp. The EV14's need a LOT more warmup enrichment than old EV1 injectors, up to 40%."

I'll be interested to see if it correlates with these from the OP. I've got to install mine next week.

Not to thread jack, the Audi S2 guys were pretty active on these injectors back in '11-12 and from the forums this is some data; " @4 bar for 550cc tested on more than 10 cars: 8V - 2.229 10V - 1.493 12V - 1.099 14V - 0.800 16V - 0.693 Test this only with the engine at full temp. Went to install these today and they ended up being too tall. Here is a picture compared to the RX-8 version:
I tried tightening down the fuel rail and it puts the injectors at an angle and wont tighten any further. I don't really want to push it.
Any suggestions?
