Ok, so I have been playing with the dead times. I have my car running nicely but nothing I would want to post as far as a log. You know what I mean, it's brutal on here. I think I have a winner at .902ms dead times at 13.2v with .19ms/v BVC.

But I am drunk and still need to try it tomorrow. Will keep you posted, feel free to quote my drunken rants.

 

Got it working reasonably well, at least as good as stock injectors. Still not perfect AFR's at idle but I will post a log soon.

No problem! For anyone's future reference, EV6 pigtails (better known as ev6 to denso connectors with lack luster denso plugs) are $20 a set shipped, and I have quite a few of them

 

DEAD TIMES!!!!!!
Here are the dead times from 1 injector. I had two tested for dead times to get an idea of what the variance might be, but I only seem to have gotten one result back. I'm looking into that...

I think .63ms @ 13.2V is going to be close enough. That is assuming a linear relationship between ms and V, which is close enough to true between whole volts, but not actually true.

 

Also, battery voltage correction I'd assume to be .116. Can someone comment? That is the ms difference between 13 and 14 volts.

 

You're welcome. I still have something going on with my IAC, might have to disable it. But running very well overall. A little bit more fiddling and I will be ready for some boost. I seem to be hitting my AFR targets now, I will post another log and an msq in the next few days. I am curious how close my dead times are.

 

Sorry my dumb *** didn't see this chart earlier. Thanks Nigel!! I am running .631 dead time and .116 BVC, that is correct the difference between 13 and 14 volts. Will post logs and msq for my stock 99 soon.

 

Thanks a ton for getting us this info. Would you mind posting the sheet in the other threads about the injectors, just so we have it posted in multiple places on here.

Why is the mainboard injector bank 1 deadtime 1.20V?

 

Because I'm not using the main board injectors.
