I know Dimitris that you are indeed a busy man - but I would soooo much love to see an update on this. New arrival time estimate (as Q1 is over now)?

Its getting a complete redesign - in fact, all of my ECUs currently are. This will help me build them faster, significantly reducing the lead time. This will free up more time for R&D.
The new V2.0 Basic MS3 will use the same design, albeit missing a lot of parts. No, it won't be upgreadable to the Enhanced just by "installing some parts" - the PCB will be different. |

ha. Read page one, thought I was at end of thread. Responded. Perhaps much of this is answered already?
-------------------------------- This might be a bit odd, but, what's software, and what's hardware - i.e. my car is largely wired for the '99, but the motor is VVT. Would there be any reason to wait on the VVT version, or just run my current mechanicaly static timing set up on the 99 version and get new firmware later? Running your own code, or MS3x or .....? |
I didn't see a response to the ETA on the enhanced. What would it be?

I'm happy to wait, it gives me more time to hoard parts for my inevitably mediocre turbo project

A well managed mediocre turbo project ;)

So when are the new MS3basics going to be ready to start shipping ?
Do they have the same features as your current MS3basic ? You had a killer sale on the MS3basic going on in december. whats the price on the current Basic and the new Basic youre coming out with. |
The new Basic MS3s will roll out progressively, the first units will be here in about 15 days.
Feature wise, they will be the same. The price for the Basic MS3 is still affordable, $699 for the Basic MS3 and $799 for the Basic MS3 with the knock and RTC module installed (its a single module). Btw the Enhanced MS2 is still available. |
I didn't realize how long I've been waiting for the Enhanced MS3, until I read that Hustler was wanting one for his turbo car...
ETA? |
