Who's in for a BEGi Down Pipe?
I'm really not sure. It's pretty opposite what was expected in the AFR department. If there was AFR reading error, I would have to assume that it was on the base run as there was no wideband on the car itself for comparison. I put the wideband in after the new DP was on the car. Not really sure whats going on. At least now BRG will be able to play around with it and see whats happening and get it dialed in.
I know after seeing the results I won't be trading my 2.5" Bell Mouth DP in on the BEGI piece. I don't think the dyno proves one way or another which design is better, sure we can say it SHOULD because of the design ... but that's just a WAG.

I intend to pick up the car tomorrow, God willing. I will be by passing the Greddy Fuel Pressure Regulator and install the O2 clamp. Hopefully I will start tuning the Emanage (blue) this coming week before work each day (working the 4-midnight shift). If I can tune (rough) the car without Greddy FPR, then I am going to install Greddy pressure sensor and start tuning (rough) again. Hopefully I will be done playing with car in 1 week. Does anyone know of Dyno shop in the Houston area?
According to their website, they still have them.

Not the Greddy downpipe, but my Greddy downpipe sort of resembles this one. Picture of downpipe attached to turbo is the Greddy downpipe. Hope that helps. http://www.bellengineering.net/Pages...peupgrade.html

i know what it looks like, i was just curious, i wasn't specfically looking at the price list, and still looking at the production pictures they had. i already got me a BEGi downpipe, for my T3....
They are still available. I dont think there is any made sitting on the shelf, but give stephanie a call if anyone wants to order one. I would really like to see some more experiences with it. Hows your car doing BRG? Tuning going ok?

On a "get around to it" basis, I'm going to compare the BEGi pipe to the TurboTony pipe.
I've got a Tony pipe finally....

1991BRG will allow use of his car for Bell to mock up a downpipe. In case you didn't know, Bell's downpipe is larger than TurboTony's (2.75" vs 2.5") and has divorced wastegate gas entry. That translates to more power. And it's roughly the same cost. I'm going to talk to Corky and/or Stephanie later today, but wanted to see if any others were interested.
Final cost may differ, but BEGi's website lists the mild steel pipe at $265. Tony's pipe is $250

I ordered this exact downpipe and mine was a 2 1/2 inch dp. How many of you guys measured the I.D. of your pipes? Im trying to figure out how i got the wrong one and am being told that BEGI does not make a 2.75 inch dp for the greddy kit.

I just saw this picture of the pipe on the site:

It makes me sad that the wastegate flow re-enters the pipe at a 90° angle. Perhaps this is why the results thus far have been less than ideal.
