front end weight savings

That sounds like a really expensive 52lbs, but nice work regardless.
I seem to have endless ideas for shedding weight in the back of the local NA N/A track rat, which is currently at something like 1950 lbs without driver, with a full windshield and hard top.
Taking weight out of the front is another issue, once AC and PS are out, I'm at a bit of a loss. Your list is roughly twice what the entire car has cost.

Control arms $80
Spindles $300
Brakes $450
Fan $40
Intake $100
Your whole car cost $920? I bet it's fast!

Weight reduction is an evolutionary process. It does not happen in one day.
It is fun for me to see what I can modify to reduce weight, and the process can be quite addictive. If you get bit by the bug, it starts to get expensive once you move past the removal and modify existing parts stage.
The results are fun, fun, fun.

Original build thread. However, it has evolved a bit since then.

If I recall, the windshield and glass is quoted at around 40 lbs. I cut mine off but didn't have a scale around to check. I would say 40lbs is a fair guess from hold it. Mine was a 90. I know the frame on my buddy's NC was MUCH heavier. Mainly due to the really thick tube added inside the sheet metal folds.

Actually I'm not so sure. Right now, a rear wing limited to rule height with no windshield gets air hitting it after being disrupted by the driver, seats ( two in our case ), and the roll bar.
I've been questioning whether it would be better to run a windshield and use the rule allowance to move the wing up into clean air.
