Did you find much difference in removing the 2nd wing element?

Slightly faster down the straight, slightly slower in some corners, a wash over all and the car was nicer to drive with the secondary so we put it back in.
The beauty of the DRS is that it will allow us to leave the cake and eat it too.
Coming up shortly, watch this space

Even better, the DRS uprights we designed are modular and we would be able to adapt the system to MANY different vehicles through minor change in the mounting surfaces.

Creampuff is for sale in order to free up some space and cash to make Morpheus go fast.
Details are coming.

Out of curiosity, did you consider putting dimples on the bodywork you said was 'flat' a few posts back.

I know it has some aero/drag reduction benefits in low speed applications, but I'm not sure if racecars have played with the flow too much. Sounds expensive to get it right anywho.

Been very busy with customer cars and our normal day to day orders, but I started working on the DRS uprights again yesterday.
Man, it is a metric royal PITA to work on all the small details, tapping every thread, counter-sink bolt heads etc..
Lots of things to keep track of and make sure are done correctly - time consumption at its finest

Should have them gone to anodizing this week.

DRS uprights look amazing.

BUT...

What I want to know is: how are you liking the 6speed + 4.77 combo for your engine setup?

I love the way it pulls out of corners but would've liked it a lot more if I had ~400-500 RPM to work with.
The only track I've really driven with it (trying to go fast) is Buttonwillow and there were many times that the shorter rear end required shifting with the rev limiter set at a safe 7200 RPM, while if I had something like 7700 RPM to work with I could've avoided shifting altogether.
Have a look at the SLB vid again and you'll realize that there's over a second wasted on shifting that shouldn't even be done at all.

New engine purchased, shipping soon, should make Morpheus pretty quick.
