What if we grease up the bearing and stack these between the ball and the spacers?

That'll add height to the stack, not knowing how thick they are, they may or may not work in that regard. Also, I didnt see an OD listed, which doesnt really matter since they wont work on the snap ring side that well, and it appears they are made for high misalignment rod ends which means the rubber is way too tall.

Now we are getting there.

So i did do it right after all!

how is the long term testing of the loctite holding up on these?

 

I took my rear suspension apart yesterday. The ball of the bearing is still tight in its bore and has that new bearing stiction. The seals did a great job of keeping everything out and the retaining compound shows no signs of failure or degradation. I installed these in late 14'

 

I'm not getting paid enough for this ****.

Snapring faces back?

 

Ideally should face rearwards to take brake load, but it doesn't really matter, especially with high hp cars with real rubber.

Is the brake load that high on the rear, or is there a higher moment induced from hard acceleration? I feel as though the acceleration would be more harsh, but then again, the braking is probably more frequent.

Knowing my luck, I'll dimwittedly install it both ways
