I personally would also vote for match hardtop to body color; that being said, I really do not enjoy this logic for mariner blue and it's completely subjective. Black also gets HOT in summer.
Has anyone else found their Skunk2 TB not quite returning to 0% TPS? Sometimes on gradual throttle down, it just hovers at 1% until I blip the throttle. There's enough slack in the cable, it just doesn't seem there's enough spring to close all the way at times.

Subjectively (ie. IMO): I prefer the contrast for the roof so vote Black - my Ti MSM has a black hardtop which looks great IMO but I rarely use it.
Reality: Black if you ever want to sell it, black goes with everything. NOT black if you're concerned about the heat (Trivia: Nearly all vans built in the UK were white after one of the early manufacturers realised that black vans got very hot - and the UK definitely isn't recognised for its hot climate).
The other advantage of the contrast, if you colour match the hardtop and it's "off", it looks obvious (shouldn't be a problem with reputanle paintshops though).

I vote matched.
You can always plastidip or wrap or do one of those temporary things right now in black and then decide if you like it or not, if it gets too hot, etc and then decide what to do going forward.

With the S2 throtlte body, there's a screw in the aluminum casting that forms the throttle stop. That screw likes to back out, and when it does the cars starts to idle at higher and higher RPM. It needs loctite.
The 1% throttle blip thing probably just means that you need to recalibrate it, though. The TPS doesn't always give you exactly the same value for the same position.

Ya I was toying with the idea of getting a silver one and wrapping it gloss black. Because around here, you can't find silver hardtops. And one just popped up for a steal. So, I may just get it, and if I don't like it, Ill just wrap it.
As far as the TB, I already put locktite on ALLTHETHINGS. But I was unaware until recently that I need to join the two coolant lines together that hook up to the stock TB so I haven't installed it yet.

Skunk2 TB with throttle being held open by hand.
That's the screw that EO2K's red arrow above was pointing at:

This is why I shouldn't daily this car.
I was at the gun range with my friend and he was parked next to me, but we took his truck down to the lower parking lot (2 lots). As he was backing and turning up the front end of his truck swung toward my car and I yelled stop but he kept going and hit my car. I guess he just didnt see my car because its too low. sigh...

It said on the invoice 10hrs of labor. How the hell is it 10hrs of labor to take a fender off, paint a new one, and put it on the car?
There aren't any used ones near me so that isn't an option. And the fender is pushed back just enough that I can't open my door, so I have to get in race car style. yay me.
