Is it generally respectable to JB weld the mixing manifold together? Or should I have Abe/someone weld it up?

I need the neck shortened.

I think it was the way I did mine and the inexperience. It would have been much easier if I roasted it with a torch to get the oil and coolant out of the metal fully. And if I hadnt put the elbow the way I did the weld would have been much easier to accomplish.

I'm not sure why jbweld wouldn't hold up to coolant. Its not gonna fail at those temps. There is no stress on it. But that's just like, my opinion man.

I cleaned mine in the parts washer. Cut it, beveled it, and preheated it.

That's exactly what I need to do. What did you use for radiator hose?

It's in my build thread. Search gates. It's a combo or a T, a straight piece and a 90

Think some people like just looking at it as much as I do. Counting myself extremely lucky even though the oil drain fitting I accidentally left on the turbo when I sent it to Full Race went missing.

Thank you, overlord.

Have to update, Full Race is pretty great. I told them about me leaving my oil drain fitting on accidentally, and BW never returned the turbo to Full Race so the fitting was kind of lost. Full Race sent me a replacement for free, no questions asked.
