I have my old 1.8 block made seemingly out of the semen of colossus.

 

My new hood arrived (thankfully without issue. It is from chaser after all...) and my car is almost structurally done. All I need is the rear trunk lid, to cut and weld the rear fenders so I can run 225 tires and fit the front bumper properly as it has none of the brackets installed that its supposed to. Im getting a bit amped now.

He's getting 225's (I'm assuming 225/45) which are much pricier than 205's, to fit "cheap" rims (marginally cheaper than quality wheels but you get the point)

What I'm trying to say is, FAIL

 

I'd do the 6ul thing but honestly, this car is not going to be a real track car. More so just the daily driver miata I have been wanting to build for years as a composite then anything else. I will eventually get another NA, gut the hell out of it and use it solely as a track car. Im 31 now and have learned quite a bit in the past(as you all have seen) and I will not make the mistakes I made back then.
