Got a little work done today...

Gonna put the side skirts and rear fenders on tomorrow. This kit went on very easy and seeing it in photos just does not justify how awesome it looks in person. I cannot wait to finish the exterior of this car so i can swap motors and turbo this bitch again.

I have a lot of questions for you, btw. I forgot about a lot of the confusion with the engine I've got. Like, what tb is on this manifold anyway?

Looks pretty cool jared, I think you'll love the look when its painted. I feel with how awesome the rear transition between side skirt and fender looks, the front one could be much more clean. The only spot that looks bad is right there at the fender/sideskirt on the front.

Thanks man. Yeah its still not bolted down in the front all the way. I basically test fit everything. I have two brackets i have to put on the front and it will sit flush and proper. Youll see.

I had to scroll back and look because I didn't see anyone in the car. I thought it was parked.

That kit looks damn good. When you talked about it before I thought it was going to look like failaidz, and you'd ruin your car, but I was pleasantly surprised to see the opposite.

Now if you don't cheap out on prep/paint and really make this thing shine, you'll have a sexi lil na.

Then you better start saving for a serious setup because people are going to think its fast

Paint and body work are two things I have never cheaped out on because those are my specialty. Im shooting for an easy 300rwhp and 270tq. Thats enough power to justify the looks.

Ill probably do it on a stock motor as well. I dont have good fortune with built motors as im sure everyone knows

I don't think you'll have much fortune on a stock motor at those levels either, unless you like rod sized holes in your engine.

lol

And yet somehow he was at 300 on his last setup with stock block.
Though I think the super laggy turbo, honda IM, and worked MSM head had a lot to do with keeping those rods intact and inside the block.

Did you see his last build? 300whp on a stock block is his specialty.

Uh guys, I made way more than 300 on the last stock block. At 26psi it made 340 on the dynojet and lost traction on the dyno. Im upset that I didnt get it on tape as the battery died on my phone.

And then I went and did this:

I forgot you reached those goals on a stock block before. My next question is, do you think you could reproduce that result or do you think you got lucky? If you think you can reproduce the result I would love to know your secrets. I am not saying you can't and if you know how to do this reliably even if only for the street then I bow down to you and would love to know how, so I do not have to build my engine right away if I start to reach the 250 wtq "stock limit" constantly touted on this forum.

The turbo, manifold, meth, timing and tune where what allowed it. I drove the hell out of the car and beat on it every chance I got and never blew it. I even purposely ran it with only a quart of oil in it and it just would not let go. A higher mileage stock engine thats been taken care of as well makes a world of a difference. Tolerances in a higher mileage engine make it more forgivable with that kind of abuse as I experienced. Dont be afraid and just do it. Your compression ratio is higher though on your MSM so dont expect 30psi and no boom on the stock block unless youre using race gas and meth together and retarded *** timing which just isnt worth it.

I was not thinking anywhere near 30psi. I am curious though what turbo and manifold were you running? I would find it myself but your build thread is rather long and you would be able to save me time. I wanted to run a ARTech ramhorn mani with the same turbo as soviet which makes gobs of lowend torque which I feared would trash the rods. Meth is no problem but I assume your turbo choice did not build so much boost on the low end.
